Hailey is the founder of The Helipad. She is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. After graduating with her Master of Speech Pathology in December 2013, she spent the next two years working overseas and interstate. In June 2016, she returned back to her home town in the western suburbs of Melbourne and opened up The Helipad to provide services to her local community.
Hailey has always had a passion for working with children and helping them learn new skills. She is particularly interested in literacy and language, which led to The Helipad becoming The Helipad – Literacy Hub in 2024.
In her spare time, Hailey loves being outside, cooking, spending time with her family and going on outings with her daughters.
Malinda Evans is a Speech Pathologist with a Master of Speech Pathology and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
She has experience supporting clients across the lifespan and has worked extensively in the disability sector, providing speech, language and communication support in clinics, community settings, schools, and preschools. Through her previous roles, she has developed strong skills in speech, language, and functional communication while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.
Malinda is passionate about accessible, collaborative care and ensuring clients feel informed and empowered throughout the therapy process. Her key areas of interest include early language development, speech sound disorders, and functional communication, including AAC supports.
In her spare time, Malinda enjoys reading, playing boardgames, and going to see live theatre.
Jenna is a Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from ACU and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Jenna has experience working with both adult and paediatric clients, having supported children in rural settings and specialist schools. In her previous role as an Allied Health Assistant at a paediatric clinic, she developed a strong passion for working with children and further honed her skills in the field.
Jenna is dedicated to advocating for clients and their families, focusing on the importance of accessible services and informed consent. Her particular areas of interest include literacy and language development.
Outside of work, Jenna enjoys running, playing team sports, spending time with friends, and exploring different cultural foods and customs.
In her spare time, Georgia enjoys playing board games with her family, going on road trips, pilates and cooking.
